Persistence, commitment and vision - this is Colin's personal
motto. He is a dynamic individual who approaches everything that
he does with the greatest fervour. This is evident in Colin's ability to
produce efficient and innovative designs for structural projects and
to bring projects of great complexity to fruition. As co-founder of
Prudecon Limited, he has a renewed daily commitment to ensure
that Prudecon Limited emerges as one of the top consulting firms
in the region.
Colin's vision for Trinidad and Tobago is to design code-compliant
structures and to achieve the efficient detailing of structures
with the use of the most up-to-date structural codes. His vision
extends to the Caribbean region and involves the development or
adoption of a standardized code that is applicable throughout the
region. Through this integration, he believes that new ideas could
be spawned by engineers, who would develop the Caribbean's
structural design capability.
Background
His exposure to the field of engineering began as an engineering
technician and assistant to several prominent engineers who
spanned several specialist fields, and this interaction fuelled his
passion to attain his qualification as a Civil Engineer.
In practice, he developed a wealth of practical and technical
experience in the field of structural engineering. This experience was further
developed through technical specialization via institutional studies
and training with renowned international engineering companies
and individuals.
